Ronin Tactics "Combat Carbine" Course with TU LAM: 5th of May 2018 Extreme Tactics & Training Solutions Waxahachie, TX

"Here I share one of my favorite โ€œSlide Lock/ Emergency Reloadโ€ Pistol Drills. This type of reload is when the shooter must conduct a rapid reload on a empty gun. You can catch the rest of our "Combat Pistol" training on our ONLINE TRAINING MODULES." -TU LAM
Team Bounding Over-watch Drill
Bounding Over-watch drill conducted recently with my brother Johnny. My new wrist held up better than expected. Stay Alert Stay Alive, the training never stops!! ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฝ -(SGT.) FEMATH

Sergeant Major TU LAM & Sergeant Kyle Femath at Ronin Tactics: Combat Carbine, on the 5th of MAY 2018 @ ETTS Gun Range.

A new stress shooting drill I created recently. I have incorporated more mag changes, elevator drills, weapon transitions to the pistol, and being able to shoot from dominant to the non-dominant side. This shooting stress drill will test the shooters' ability to shoot on the move. The question will always remain will you fight or flight to protect the innocent & one's loved ones? ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ (SGT.) FEMATH
Shooting my primary weapon system on my dominant and non-Dominant sides. Each individual is different and has their own rhythm. Stay Alert Stay Alive!-(SGT.) FEMATH
Dominant And Non-dominant Side Shooting Drill
There are always multiple ways to handle every obstacle. Being able to shoot from one's non-dominant side will not only give one the advantage over their enemy but will also minimize their flesh from being exposed to incoming rounds. If a position doesn't work switch up your silhouette and find a way to make it happen ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ-(SGT.) FEMATH
(SGT.) FEMATH Fatigue Shooting Drill
I created this stress shooting drill recently. This drill will test the shooters cardio, stamina, and endurance. It will help one to understand how effective their gear is while on the move & also how important it is to shoot from your non-dominant or weak side. This not only gives you the upper hand against the threat from changing up your silhouette but also minimizes the flesh that is exposed to your enemy for them to engage. I want to push this drill further in the future.I want to incorporate more cardio from the get-go and push this drill further. Maybe even add some flutter kicks or mountain climbers, to really get the heart pumping. I noticed towards the end my physical & mental fatigue started to hinder my sight picture.
When the Taliban would try to kill my men and I. They wouldn't attack you right away. The enemy would usually wait for your exfil, when you're heading back from a mission into the wire. That's when you are the most vulnerable and your body is absolutely physically & mentally drained. Now I know we aren't fighting Taliban fighters daily on home soil, but regardless this can be applied to the civilian aspect. If one can push through all the elements & accomplish the mission through tough conditions. Then when one has to shoot in a controlled environment, it will become second nature. Train how you fight!!- (SGT.)FEMATH
One Reload One Shooting Drill
SGT. FEMATH Conducting some great pistol drills with Good friend Johnny. Here we are running through a one reload one, reload one shooting drill. Three bullets all in separate magazines with bullet starting in the chamber of your weapon system, with an empty mag, inserted. Remember slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Focus on the actual body mechanics and the speed and everything else will follow.
In this video Sergeant Femath goes over a few body mechanics and various shooting positions. Also, going into detail over cover/concealment, dominant/non-dominant, muzzle mitigation, and lowering ones body silhouette towards the enemy. There are many factors and situations, were one could use all of these body positions and effectively disengage or expire the threat. Remember that slow is smooth, smooth is fast. We must empty our minds. In the words of Bruce lee we must "be formless, shapeless, like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can either crash or it can flow. Be water my friends". We must always keep a high level of awareness and most importantly we must all strive, to stay alert stay alive!
Elevator Carbine Drill
This drill goes over the different levels one must make, in order to lower their silhouette and increase their survival probability. The sideways position (on the ground) is used to simulate shooting under a vehicle or obstacle . This could dictate who lives or dies. This can also increase one's probability, in expiring the threat faster and securing the perimeter. Stay Alert Stay Alive!
Pistol Elevator Drill
My first time conducting Elevator drill with my pistol. All my misses remind me to never stop training. The day one becomes complacent is the day they decided their deadly fate. Elevator drills will force the shooter to get uncomfortable, dirty, and to gain the best body mechanic position over the enemy/threat! Never stop training and there is always room for improvement.-(SGT.) FEMATH
Equilibrium Shooting Drill
This drill focuses on an individuals consistency and rhythm. We must strive for consistency. Remember ones speed will increase over time. This drills main focus is to entwine an individuals speed and rhythm. Finding ones balance between these elements will differ between each shooters shooting platform. We must train for a better tomorrow! Stay Alert Stay Alive!- (SGT.) FEMATH
Shooing Alpha Zone Drill
Here I am shooting all four targets and placing a controlled pair in each of the alpha zones. This drill works on one's accuracy and fundamentals. Speed will come later, first focus on understanding the body mechanics and form.-(SGT.) FEMATH
Here I am conducting a hostage shooting drill. We have multiple rubber dummies that are supposed to simulate the innocent civilian hostages. The enemy combatants are small plates of Steel behind them. This was a great warm-up drill and an even better way to get the day started! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ-(SGT.) FEMATH
In this Shooting Hostage Drill, we are using rubber dummies to simulate the civilian personnel and steel plates behind them are the enemy combatants. Here we are just warming up and I'm helping drew shake off the cobwebs. It has been almost a year since he has shot with me. Regardless when we get together we have a nice rhythm and make a pretty nice symphony.- (SGT.) FEMATH
